Announcement: 4 new visa measures of Thailand, which are effective from 15 July 2024

There're 4 new visa measures of Thailand, which are effective from 15 July 2024:

1. "Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)" aims to facilitate foreigners who are digital nomads/remote workers/freelancers and those who want to spend time in Thailand doing activities such as Muay Thai, cooking classes, medical treatment, etc. (Please see details in the e-poster) It allows you to stay up to 180 days per entry multiple times within 5 years period.

2. "Non ED-Plus Visa" aims to facilitate international students studying Bachelor’s degree or above in universities in Thailand so that they can depart and re-enter Thailand without the need for a re-entry permit. Also, foreign students are allowed to extend the stay in Thailand for 1 year after graduation, to seek employment, travel or participate in other activities, and they are eligible to apply for a new type of visa in Thailand if employed.

4. List of 31 countries and territories eligible for Visa on Arrival (VOA)
